Provide support to legal team
Review and draft commercial agreements/other legal documents
Legal compliance, including review of legal initiatives and marketing assets
Assisting and conducting legal research, preparing memoranda
Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed and assigned
Current Law student at a Canadian law school, having completed 1L or 2L
Highly motivated with a strong desire to learn and take initiative
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent time management and organizational skills

The Opportunity
Sitting within our Legal team, the Summer Law Student will be responsible for providing support to members of our legal team by reviewing and drafting commercial agreements and other legal documents, reviewing various initiatives and marketing assets for legal compliance (including Cannabis Act compliance), conducting research, and preparing memoranda, and assisting with the enhancement of existing processes and tools.
