Title : Summer Programs Teacher: Various Grades K-12 Positions

Supervisor : Director of Special Programs

Job Status : Temporary: June 16 - July 25, 2025; 2-4 Hours per day

Temporary: July 27 - August 8, 2025; 2-8 Hours per day

Pay Range : $43.00 to $57.50 hourly

An experienced educator with a strong background in the classroom to teach one or two classes a day. Must be able to create their own project-based, engaging curriculum that inspires a love for learning in students. Summer course subjects include STEM, coding, art, sports/fitness, academic review and other enrichment subjects. Faculty may teach an existing course or create their own class.

• Effective and appropriate communication as well as positive collaboration and interaction with supervisors, colleagues, teachers’ aides, students, and parents.
• A willingness and ability to improve based on feedback from supervisors.
• A proactive sensibility and willingness to seek support when needed.

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience.
• Highly skilled in teaching, organization, planning, innovation and problem-solving; knowledge of current educational pedagogy.
• Proficient in Google applications as well as a willingness and ability to learn new computer applications.

• Teaching Certificate.

• Extended periods of sitting, generally performs work from a desk, and/or stands and walks.
• Ability to see and hear with or without correction.
• Ability to lift, carry, reach overhead above shoulders, push and/or pull objects that weigh up to 10 pounds.
• Work is generally performed Monday through Friday during normal business hours; however, evening and weekend hours are often required to meet responsibilities.
• Due to work in close proximity to children, the selected candidate must undergo fingerprint background check and submit proof of TB clearance required.
