What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Oversee the enrollment and disenrollment processes for various employee benefits, ensuring compliance with policies and guidelines
- Resolve escalated benefits issues and provide guidance to staff on vendor invoice reconciliation
- Conduct audits and analysis of employee benefit programs, including cost analyses and modeling
- Manage the benefits team and prepare communications regarding benefit programs for participants
- Collaborate with leadership to coordinate employee benefits for new hires and current employees
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of a college or university degree in a related field or equivalent experience
- 5-7 years of work experience in a related job discipline
- Strong understanding of health and retirement benefits programs
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- High level of computer application skills, including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field
- Experience in project management related to health and retirement benefits
- Previous experience in higher education
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and present data effectively
- Proven project management skills and ability to collaborate with management at all levels
