      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Supervise and monitor daily activities of licensed and non-licensed staff to ensure efficient workflow
      - Maintain contact with clinical departments for accurate charge capture and compliance
      - Assist Patient Accounts with reviewing, correcting, and submitting billing information
      - Serve as a key contact point for the hospital, fostering relationships with ancillary leadership and external auditors
      - Participate in strategic planning and represent the department on various committees

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Florida LPN with 4 years of auditing experience or Florida RN with 4 years of recent clinical experience, or a bachelor's degree in informatics with at least 3 years of CDM experience
      - Medical audit experience and credentialed as a Certified Medical Audit Specialist (CMAS) from the American Association of Medical Audit Specialists (AAMAS) preferred
      - Completion of the certification program within 2 years of hire is required

      - Experience in coding, health information management, denials, and utilization management

      - Familiarity with quality improvement principles in healthcare
