What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Supervise and monitor daily activities of both licensed and non-licensed staff
- Maintain communication with clinical departments to ensure accurate charge capture
- Work with the Charge Description Master (CDM) analyst to maintain compliance
- Assist Patient Accounts by reviewing and submitting billing information
- Represent the department on various committees and participate in strategic planning

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Florida LPN with 4 years of auditing experience or Florida RN with 4 years of recent clinical experience, or bachelor's degree in informatics with at least 3 years of CDM experience
- Medical audit experience and credentialed as a Certified Medical Audit Specialist (CMAS) from the American Association of Medical Audit Specialists (AAMAS) preferred
- Completion of the certification program within 2 years of hire is required
