      Role and Scope of Position:
      This position supports the development and implementation, of the Eversource Quality Control program as it relates to construction, maintenance, meter service, leak survey, corrosion, damage prevention, LNG and I&R activities at Eversource Gas. Works with Operations, LNG, LPG and I&R Supervision, subject matter experts, and other Eversource departments to ensure the delivery of a successful Quality Control Program.

      Position could be based out of Southborough MA or Berlin CT.

      Essential Functions:

      • Responsible for the Company’s gas quality control programs.
      • Responsible for executing the annual gas inspection plan including random inspections and re-dig program activities.
      • Responsible for the oversight of the Company’s in-house and external gas construction and maintenance inspection services resources.
      • Contributes to the reports of the Company’s gas quality control activities including audits, tracking of corrective measures, and ensuring continuous improvement of quality control practices.
      • Responsible for developing, leading and managing a team of Quality Control Specialists.
      • Will be assigned an ERP role and will support Gas or Electric during any ERP or Work Continuation event as required.

      Technical Knowledge/Skill/Education/Licenses/Certifications:

      Technical Knowledge/Skills:

      • Requires thorough knowledge of gas construction and maintenance standards, work practices and procedures, and safety requirements
      • Requires knowledge of the planning, scheduling and oversight of quality control projects, assessments and audits
      • Requires working knowledge and use of gas business information and office automation
      • Requires strong technical writing and oral communication skills
      • Must be familiar with MS Office suite and have the ability to adapt to other PC based software tools

      Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
      • Master’s Degree or MBA preferred

      Experience:

      • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in gas distribution, utility or technical experience

      Licenses & Certification:

      • Will be expected to become Eversource Operator Qualified

      Compensation and Benefits:

      Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. The annual salary range for this position is $109,210.00 to $121,340.00, plus incentive. Salary is commensurate with your experience. Check out the career site for an overview of our benefits.

      Working Conditions:

      • This position is categorized as safety-sensitive for the purpose of drug testing. Successful applicants shall be subject to a pre-assignment drug test if the individual is currently in a non-safety sensitive position. As an employee in this position the individual shall be subject to random drug testing. A positive drug test will result in disciplinary action.
      • Work is performed both in an office environment and does require time in the field to conduct audits, training and to resolve complex problems.

      • Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
      • Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
