      Summary

      Incumbent directs a staff of several technical experts and analysts with expertise in supply chain technological and other processes and to create, support, and monitor strategic initiatives within the Supply Chain organization. This group provides technical analysis and problem solving support to assist in resolving technical and tactical issues across the Supply Chain organization including complex data analytics, root cause analysis and development of system implementation strategies. This group also has responsibility for creating and providing analysis and reporting for various supply chain success metrics. Fulfillment of these responsibilities may include active development and participation on multiple cross functional stakeholder teams internal and external to the company, direct interface with internal customers, and creating and providing technical training to various Supply Chain workgroups.

      Key Roles & Responsibilities

      Directly or through others, the incumbent shall:

      • Provide leadership in the creation and continued development of a workgroup focused on the use of data analytics and technology for the purpose of finding and implementing solutions and strategic improvements to the processes and practices of the Supply Chain organization.
      • Effectively understand the overall goals of the Supply Chain organization and assist in the implementation of those goals through the Strategy and Technology workgroup.
      • Create and present technical training to support efficient and effective supply chain processes and practices.
      • Provide leadership, field support and training in supply chain systems across the Supply Chain organization.
      • Develop and maintain system implementation strategies to ensure effective management of supply chain technology.
      • Develop and maintain relationships across Oncor to ensure effective communication and engagement with key Supply Chain stakeholders.
      • Represent Supply Chain in various technological and strategic initiatives throughout Oncor.
      • Perform all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
      • Develop complex tools to enable strategy development and implementation for Supply Chain and other key stakeholders throughout Oncor, as needed.

      Education, Experience, & Skills

      • Four year college degree with supply chain or project management focus or relevant equivalent experience.
      • Minimum five years of experience in supply chain and/or people management preferred.
      • Eight years of experience in performance management, strategy, project management, and/or data analytics.
      • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
      • Advanced problems solving/analytical skills.
      • Knowledge of related existing and evolving supply chain processes and practices.
      • Knowledge of company systems and associated data, data analysis and reporting software, including Maximo, and Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
      • Proven leadership and demonstrated ability to promote strategic change.

      Measures of Success

      • Development of aggressive workgroup goals for enhancing the effectiveness of supply chain data analytics and measurement of success metrics.
      • Development of a workgroup environment focused on continuous improvement of the Supply Chain organization.
      • Recognized organizational leadership in data analytics, technical problem solving, and root cause analysis.
      • Development of strategies and processes to facilitate effective supply chain management to support optimal organizational performance.
