      Overview

      LMI is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Research Intern. A successful research intern demonstrates strong research capabilities, competency in supply chain concepts and methodologies, data analysis, teamwork, and communications. Work is primarily located at the LMI Tysons, VA office with remote/telework allowed. Please note this internship is around 20hrs/week through the Spring Semester.

      Responsibilities

      • Ability to research and provide in depth analysis for military or government systems.
      • Communicate the overarching supply chain of assigned system.
      • Share relevant supply chain insights, risks / challenges, and solutions / opportunities.
      • Works collaboratively with project teams to design outputs of work products.
      • Communicates with findings written reports and oral presentations.


      Qualifications

      • Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in public policy, supply chain management, investigative journalism, acquisition, national intelligence, or similar logistics discipline; undergraduate degree not required.
      • 2+ years of undergraduate study completed.
      • Knowledge of applicable government supply chain regulations, legislations, and guides.
      • Experience in one or multiple of these areas highly desired:, conducting threat and vulnerability
        analysis, all-source intelligence gathering, integrating multiple data sources for policy analysis
        (i.e. NDAAs, EOs, Entity Lists, etc.) , understanding obsolescence planning and management
        and/or, industrial base assessments desired.
      • Experience in domains such as but not limited to security and counterintelligence, data
        collection and analysis, supply chain management, cybersecurity and risk management is
        desired
      • Strong analytical skills.
      • High energy, enthusiasm, tact, ability to work in a team.
