Basic Job Functions:

While utilizing their strategic vision and leveraging robust technology, the Supply Chain Supervisor will pioneer the strategic orchestration of materials both locally and across the Nucor enterprise. This person will provide leadership to ensure the successful movements and management of 3 million tons of material on a greater than 1-billion-dollar investment of a greenfield steel mill in Brandenburg, KY. The Supply Chain Supervisor will have the opportunity to grow and develop a team while implementing Operational and Commercial Excellence. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 years leadership experience
• 5 years of experience in metal production planning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automated materials management and related technologies
