      Job summary

      **This position is open to staff working at the Trust in the 'ECT Family' this includes currentEast Cheshire NHS Trust employees,both NHSP and ECT bank staff, ISS staff and volunteers at the Trust. Unfortunately, we cannot accept applications from applicants not listed within these groups.**

      An outstanding opportunity for a support secretary has arisen within the Clinical Admin Service.

      Would you like to take on a role that provides you with ownership of your work? Would you like to be creative in your approach and be responsible for supporting and ensuring our patients receive the best quality of care by using your skills and experience and our Trust's values and behaviours.

      This post is Fixed Term for 12 Months

      Hours per week: 22.5 hours per week.

      Main duties of the job

      To provide an efficient and effective typing and administration function to the team. The post requires fast and accurate audio typing skills, and a sound knowledge of medical terminology.

      Good communication, organisational skills, and previous secretarial experience is essential as is experience of dealing with sensitive information. Knowledge of medical terminology and previous experience using hospital based IT systems such as PAS and Medisec will be advantageous.

      • Typing qualifications to RSAII (Royal Society of Arts) standard.
      • Computer literate to (European Computer Driving License) ECDL standard or equivalent.
