What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Act as a subject matter expert in insurance authorization requirements and revenue cycle processes
- Submit all clinical information required by third-party payers
- Respond to payer requests and inquiries, escalating issues to leadership as needed
- Process and manage incoming communication from payers, routing information to appropriate team members
- Identify and implement process improvement strategies within the Utilization Review team

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. required
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in healthcare
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of computers and software systems
- Experience working in Epic preferred

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 1+ years of experience in a healthcare support role
- Familiarity with Utilization Management processes
- Previous experience with payer communications and authorization processes
- Additional certifications in healthcare administration or related fields
