- Direct and manage a field crew of 1-2 members.
- Complete ALTA, topographic, boundary, wetland, and construction surveys.
- Operate equipment such as total stations, level rods, robotic GPS rovers, data collectors, Trimble, and Carlson.
- Conduct large project surveys including DOT, Commercial, and Utility Projects.
- Perform strenuous physical activities in various temperatures and work environments.
- Drive to and from survey sites with a valid driver’s license.
- 3+ years of experience as a Survey Party Chief.
- Proficiency in using total station, level rod, robotics GPS rover, data collector, Trimble, and Carlson.
- Experience with boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys.
- Strong math skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Carlson SurvCE and Robotic total stations is a plus.
- Experience with transportation and utility corridor surveys is a plus.
- Knowledge of equipment such as rods, compass, transits, levels, tribrachs, theodolites, total stations, data collectors, and tripods.

Job Title: Survey Party Chief
Job Description
As a Survey Party Chief, you will be responsible for directing crews of two or more people to successfully complete a variety of field assignments. This supervisory role requires you to make high-impact decisions and guide the work of others while performing the same technical duties as other crew members. The position is both mentally and physically demanding and must be performed in diverse environments.

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00/yr.
