Job Description

Quarterly reporting: Process ownership for quarterly environmental reporting (internal) from TOMRA’s legal entities, providing Group-level guidance and support
Annual reporting and audit: Support data collection and analysis for annual CSRD-compliant sustainability reporting; coordinate and support audit process
Data validation & controlling: Perform and document systematic data validation checks and follow-up discrepancies with reporters
Internal Controls Sustainability Reporting: Manage and further develop TOMRA’s ICSR framework
Financial and ESG analysis: Conduct financial analysis to assess the link between sustainability initiatives and relevant financial KPIs; maintain ESG data dashboard and prepare custom reports
Budgeting and forecasting: Support integration of sustainability considerations into budgeting and forecasting processes.
EU Taxonomy & green finance: Lead efforts to annually assess and report on TOMRA’s taxonomy alignment and eligibility; support annual reporting and other obligations in relation to TOMRAs’ green bonds and sustainability-linked loan agreements
Team sparring and support. Work closely with other members of the Group Sustainability team, supporting each other to deliver on key priorities for the department
Degree in Finance, Accounting, Sustainability Management, or related field
Min 2-3 years’ experience working in financial management, business controlling, or ESG controlling
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
Knowledge of sustainability regulations and standards is a plus

Job Description
TOMRA is strengthening our Group Sustainability team and looking for a purpose-driven individual to fill the role of Sustainability Controller. This position will play a pivotal role in integrating sustainability into our financial management and operations and help secure quality data and processes to support TOMRA’s sustainability transformation.

Sustainability in TOMRA involves two critical aspects: maximizing the positive impact of our products and solutions on the environment and society – our handprint – and minimizing any negative sustainability effects resulting from our activities – our footprint. The Group Sustainability team, anchored under the Group CFO, sets TOMRA’s strategic direction, ambitions and targets for environmental and social impact and oversee, guide and support their implementation, while ensuring transparent and compliant sustainability reporting.
