      Function & Control includes four diverse teams, responsible for development of all seat functions at Volvo Cars. We design, develop, and deliver software and mechanical functionality and design, for both our inhouse and the supplier part of the control modules.


      We are all located in the same area which throughout the entire development chain enables collaboration, exchange of information on solutions and ensuring that the product's vision is preserved at every stage.

      What you’ll do

      We are now looking for an engineer with experience of working with product development in automotive industry, AUTOSAR knowledge, experience in coordinating projects. We are looking for an individual who has good interpersonal communication and collaboration skills. You are someone who can coordinate tasks independently and drive issues with energy and transparent in reporting status of the area, ensure cross functional contacts.

      Your main responsibilities:
      · Plan and facilitate SW delivery process for supplier software.
      · Plan and perform joint reviews for Software according to the project plan.
      · Share requirements and extracts with the supplier.
      · Follow up the technical development and quality of the component with the supplier.
      · Validate the delivery documentation from supplier.

      What you’ll bring


      • BS or MS in Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic or related engineering field.
      • Experience in Design, Development and Validation of automotive electrical/electronic components.
      • Automotive ECU technical knowledge and previous experience of component ownership.
      • Gathering, negotiating, updating and documenting electronic control unit requirements.
      • Automotive requirement handling and experience from PLM systems.
      • Overall knowledge of embedded electronic systems from both development and production point of view.
      • Fluent in English (both written and spoken).

      We see that you are motivated and reliable person who enjoys working in a team and collaborating with different stakeholders. You are structured and keep good documentation. You also have very good communication skills and thrive in collaborative environment.
