      About This Job

      Air and Space Force Solutions, a business unit within BAE Systems, has an opening at Hill Air Force Base, Utah location for Junior Atlassian Project Manager. In this role you will join our Information Services team and have an important role in supporting our mission through continual improvement and innovation. This is a customer-facing role with learning and relationship building opportunities with customers as well as working directly with technical personnel, SMEs.

      Responsibilities:
      • Utilize agile methodology, values, principles, and practices to effectively plan, manage, and deliver solutions and new capabilities
      • Develop, configure, and maintain projects, workflows, permissions, and automation to meet the evolving needs of the team
      • Provide technical support to users to ensure efficient use of Atlassian products
      • Ensure that goals, scope, and product backlog items are understood and can be fulfilled by team members
      • Manage risks and opportunities and ensure that best practices are followed
      • Anticipate customer needs and work to exceed customer expectations
      • Work well under pressure with tight deadlines
      • Define and improve process flows to realize efficiencies for BAE Systems and the customer
      • Adapt quickly to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
      • Develop trusted relationships with internal and external customers; communicate daily with internal and external customers related to assigned program areas
      • Create and update documentations, user manuals, and procedures

      • Knowledge or experience of Project Management methodologies
      • Knowledge or experience of Atlassian tool suite
      • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
      • Ability to work in a cross-functional environment to accomplish schedules driven priorities on time
      • Experience resolving complex technical issues
      • Excellent communication and customer service skills

      Preferred Skills and Education

      Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:

      • Experience working on Department of Defense (DoD) or US Government projects with a strong understanding of DoD regulations, cybersecurity, and operational requirements
      • Knowledge of Confluence and Jira tools
      • Familiar with Agile and Scrum principles
      • Ability to identify potential risks and develop contingency plans
      • Project Management Certification - PMP/CPAM or Atlassian Certification
