What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Install, configure, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot issues with computer systems and networks
- Provide technical guidance and support to IT Specialists
- Troubleshoot escalated technical issues to resolution, documenting occurrences and resolutions
- Continually improve infrastructure through optimization of existing systems, services, and technologies
- Ensure efficient and secure system operations, including identity protection through conditional access policies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or relevant field, or equivalent combination of higher education and work experience
- 3-5 years of network administration or system administration experience
- 2+ years of experience in an end-user facing technical support role
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Adaptability and flexibility in a dynamic work environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Industry certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Experience with enterprise security policies and access controls
- Knowledge of wireless, wired, and VPN networks and equipment
- Proficiency with Helpdesk systems configuration and functionality
- Experience with MDM technologies such as Microsoft Intune and JAMF
