What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Install, configure, patch, and deploy RHEL servers and systems, ensuring they meet organizational requirements
- Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring proper user access controls
- Implement and maintain robust security measures, including firewalls and intrusion detection/prevention systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve system issues, providing timely and effective solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including operating instructions and user guides
What is Required (Qualifications):
- At least 7 to 10 years of experience in system administration
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure and experience with RHEL systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks effectively
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Active VA Clearance preferred but not required
- Experience with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
- Experience with IBM Security Verify Access (ISVA) and IBM DataPower
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
