      Leidos QTC Health Services is hiring a Systems Administrator / Command Center Analyst to be responsible for supporting the LQTC Command Center, monitoring IT infrastructure and applications. This particular position is primarily for supporting weekends and holidays and also functions as the primary escalation liaison between various support teams within the technology division.

      Shift Schedule:

      • Four days a week, 10 hours each day, plus lunch break
      • Normal work days are Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday

        • On weeks when there is a holiday, you will be expected to work the holiday and swap either the Monday or Tuesday of that week for your holiday
        • Consult the QTC Holiday calendar for the list of company holidays which you are expected to work

      • The shift will start at 6:00 AM Eastern time
      • The work day will be 10 hours; if you take a 30-minute lunch break, the day will end at 4:30 PM (Eastern); if you take a one hour lunch break, the day will end at 5:00 PM (Eastern)


      Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

      • Monitor IT Server, Network and Application health and performance
      • Execute morning system health check list and communicate results to leadership and support teams
      • Provide day-to-day operational support for IT Infrastructure and applications
      • Serve as the central point of contact for technology major incidents, understand when to escalate to other support teams and oversee the incident process through resolution
      • Be involved in and support the change management process, particularly for infrastructure changes
      • Work with various monitoring systems, rising to the level to recommend enhancements to improve the efficiency and coverage of our monitoring tools
      • Work closely with IT Infrastructure engineers and Application Support to implement IT solutions and ensure established process and policies to monitor and maintain day-to-day operations
      • Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for management reporting; provide periodic reports for analysis
      • Conduct research to evaluate new Command Center technologies
      • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

      • Must eventually become capable of leading the incident management process for operational outages
      • Solid organization and planning skills, with strong attention to detail
      • Must possess the ability and flexibility to work extra hours if needed
      • Ability and desire to take ownership of work assignments and drive tasks to completion


      Education and/or Experience: (includes certificate & licenses)

      • Bachelor degree in computer science, business administration, related field, or possess equivalent work experience
      • 2-5 years of IT Support or System Administration experience
      • Knowledge of IT monitoring solutions such as PRTG, Splunk, Solarwinds, Dynatrace, ServiceNow
      • Knowledge of Servers Operating systems (Windows Server 2012 / 2019, VMware vSphere)
      • Knowledge of basic networking skills (Cisco, Aruba)
      • ITIL certification a plus
      • Experience with Cloud Operations a plus
      • Must be able to successfully pass National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI) background investigation
      • Must be able to obtain a DoD Common Access Card (CAC)


      Pay and Benefits

      Salary range: $77,000 - $95,000 w/ up to 10% bonus eligibility
