Job Summary: We are looking for a dedicated Development Tools and Job Scheduling Administrator to oversee the operation of job scheduling, report distribution, source code management, and various development tools managed by our service providers. This role also involves providing support to business and IT team members.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the operation of job scheduling, report distribution, and source code management tools, including Endevor, Control-M, Control-D, and CA-View.
• Coordinate with managed service providers to ensure efficient service delivery and tool performance.
• Provide assistance and support to business and IT team members regarding the use and troubleshooting of development tools.
• Assure effective operation of job scheduling, report distribution, and source code management systems.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
• Develop and implement best practices for job scheduling and development tool usage.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to the tools and computing environment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and process efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience in managing development tools and job scheduling within a mainframe environment.
• Strong knowledge of Endevor, Control-M, Control-D, CA-View
• Familiarity with z/OS, z/VM, IMS, CICS, and DB2.
• Experience working with managed service providers, particularly HCLTech and DXC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification in relevant tools and technologies.
• Experience in project management.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other IT service management frameworks.
