      Who we’re looking for

      Toyota’s newest manufacturing facility, Toyota Battery Manufacturing North Carolina (TBMNC), is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Systems & ECI (Engineering Change Instruction) Senior Analyst.

      The primary responsibility of this role is to support, maintain, and develop system tools and lead ECI coordination for TBMNC Production Control (PC).

      Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the person in this role will support PC efficiency and quality while implementing and supporting innovative solutions.

      This position requires an in-depth knowledge of various systems platforms, as well as strong communication, problem-solving, negotiating, analytical, and crisis management skills.

      What you’ll be doing

      • Collaborating with Information Systems members to problem solve and identify new solutions to increase the efficiency of PC and the Supply Chain.
      • Leading plant-wide systems implementations for all related areas.
      • Developing and maintaining local tools to support PC department-wide.
      • Supporting global and regional tool training, rollout, and maintenance. These include but are not limited to eKanban, FOD Parts Master, Siemens MOM, SAP, TPROMS/MTPROMS, OWK, etc.
      • Leading PC Office Automation and Kaizen.
      • Strong knowledge of production planning, parts ordering, manufacturing, and end-to-end supply chain to effectively lead problem-solving activities, identify innovative solutions, and provide data mining support.
      • Lead the coordination of ECIs including cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment, accuracy, and successful ECI implementation.
      • Supporting ad hoc requests for data analysis and investigations.
      • This role requires the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and with individuals at all levels within the organization.

      What you bring

      • Bachelor’s degree or higher (preferably in STEM) or at least 5 years of equivalent professional work experience.
      • Manufacturing experience with a proven ability to handle/interpret technical information (e.g. Tech Notices, Specs, Engineering Changes).
      • Ability to read and interpret ECIs.
      • Experience in developing tools and/or applications from concept to production.
      • Strong knowledge of end-to-end Production Control and Supply Chain flow and function.
      • Ability to quickly grasp current situations, analyze data, and translate results into future strategy.
      • Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships that support coordination, collaboration, and effective communication (verbal & written) throughout all levels of the organization.
      • KPI management/visualization experience.
      • Experience in production planning, parts ordering, BOM maintenance, internal/external logistics, and/or manufacturing environment.
      • Proficiency (intermediate or above) in the use of Access, Excel, PowerBI, and PowerPoint.

      Added bonus if you have

      • Experience and basic understanding of Toyota Way Principles including TPS problem solving, Hoshin, OJD, JIT, etc.
      • Operational knowledge of eKanban, FOD Parts Master, Siemens MOM, SAP, TPROMS/MTPROMS, OWK, or other Toyota Supply Chain systems.
      • Project management and change management Experience.
      • Experience with AWS, SQL, Alteryx, MS Power Platform, Power Automate, SQL, and /or “Big Data” management.
      • Pilot, PE, or PC ECI experience.
