What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Design and develop information systems and coordinate system design, work processes, and user interface design
- Mentor and support application development staff in their roles and responsibilities
- Evaluate applications for technology upgrades and develop strategies for technology integration
- Support and develop processes related to software engineering, including testing and continuous integration
- Build relationships and facilitate discussions with employees at all organizational levels
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of seven (7) years of information systems experience in full stack development in enterprise production environments
- Ability to be cleared by the FBI Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) and Oregon State Police
- Associate degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or completion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training program in information technology
- Five (5) years of information systems experience in full stack development if an associate degree is held
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field with three (3) years of experience in full stack development, or a master's degree with one (1) year of experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with Java technologies, tools, and software development practices
- Skills in interface design/development and managing multi-system projects
- Ability to analyze organizational needs and implement cost-effective solutions
- Familiarity with methods for designing and maintaining databases
- Knowledge of automation products that support various data management environments
