What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage and maintain an IT enterprise of Virtual Machine environments (Nutanix or VMware) hosting MS Windows servers, Linux environments, and Citrix VDI services
- Perform tasks within a Nutanix Acropolis environment to identify, analyze, and remediate performance issues
- Maintain VM enterprise capabilities for Windows/Linux and VDI server services in compliance with DISA STIG requirements
- Identify and diagnose complex performance, security, and technical issues
- Responsible for VM cluster maintenance activities, ensuring cluster health and managing license upgrades

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must have active Top Secret clearance with SCI or the ability to acquire Top Secret/SCI
- Current DODD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or higher) required (such as CCNA Security, Security+ CE, GICSP, GSEC, or SSCP)
- Experience developing IT checklists, SOPs, guides, etc.
- Proactive self-starter demonstrating a positive, willing attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 5 years of experience managing MS Windows servers and Linux environments for Virtual Machine environments
- 2 years of experience managing Nutanix HCI environments, to include configuration of a cluster and the components needed to create and manage VMs (networks and images)
- 2 years of experience managing Citrix VDI services
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing VMs, configuring optimization features at the VM level, managing alerts, events, log collection, and reporting
- Prior Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA) and/or prior MCSE
