What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop image and video processing algorithm solutions for space-based infrared systems
- Conduct performance analyses of algorithms to support system-level trade studies
- Collaborate with embedded software and firmware teams to optimize algorithms
- Create and improve documentation, processes, and test procedures
- Support integration and testing of electro-optical/infrared systems and related hardware/software

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience, or a Graduate Degree with 2 years of experience, or 8 years of prior related experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with Python programming
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-discipline technical team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing embedded software/firmware
- Familiarity with C/C++ software development
- Background in data analysis, modeling, and simulation
- Knowledge of estimating and managing project costs
- Previous experience with end-to-end systems in EO/IR, RF, or space payload subsystems
