- Manage and enhance secure cloud environments, primarily in Azure.
- Configure and manage applications in Okta or Azure AD/Entra ID, including SSO, authentication policies, and user lifecycle management.
- Proactively review and respond to security alerts, investigate audit logs, and determine true vs. false positives within SIEM platforms.
- Support incident response activities, analyzing timelines, attack vectors, and leveraging frameworks such as MITRE Client&CK.
- Oversee vulnerability management processes, including scanning, assessing, prioritizing, and remediating threats.
- Utilize tools such as Rapid7 InsightVM or similar for threat and vulnerability management.
- Maintain compliance with information security frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST, ISO27001, SOC2, FedRAMP).
- Ensure client contractual compliance requirements are met and appropriately configured.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to resolve security-related issues and incidents.
- Manage access requests through ticketing systems and escalate when necessary.
- Create and maintain visual diagrams and flowcharts using tools like LucidChart to explain processes.
- Hands-on experience with Okta or Azure AD/Entra ID, including user lifecycle management, authentication policy configuration, and integration with IAM protocols such as SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SCIM.
- Proficiency with SIEM platforms, including log monitoring, alert configuration, and integration.
- Strong background in incident response, with the ability to analyze security incidents and identify attack vectors.
- Experience in vulnerability management, including CVSS scoring and business impact assessment.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks such as NIST 800-53/800-171, CIS, ISO27001, and related standards.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences effectively.
- Experience with visual diagramming tools such as LucidChart is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
