- Participate in the full life cycle of the recruitment process and candidate experience; includes candidate selection, first round interviews, offer decision & offer extension process to ensure a positive candidate experience is delivered.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition Manager to plan and carry out all events and activities to support the most critical need of sourcing and attracting top talent
- Implement talent acquisition, engagement and retention initiatives required to achieve operational objectives and goals
- Support a robust diversity, equity, and inclusion strategy which ensures all searches are reflective of AWI’s commitment to diversity of slate
- Ensure continual flow of communication with hiring managers on all talent acquisition activities to assure responsive and timely processing of all talent acquisition and onboarding processes.
- A ct as a talent advisor and change agent to identify and implement improvements to the recruitment process across the organization to attract best-qualified candidates.
- Coach and train hiring managers in effective interview and selection techniques, equipping them with the skills necessary to move through the recruitment cycle confidently and seamlessly.
- Maintains an active sourcing pipeline of candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter as well as other platforms
- Leverages various recruitment tools to showcase market data that supports and drives recruitment strategy
- Contributes to teamwork, training, and sharing knowledge inside the TA team and HR organization.
- Ability to work with team members in a respectful and professional manner.
- Ability to work in a diverse environment where respect for others is the expectation.
- Ability to anticipate needs and think critically
- Skilled at engaging with all levels of management to include executive leadership in a professional manner.
- Ability to provide feedback and direction tactfully and diplomatically to Hiring Managers when needed.
- Detail oriented and exceptional organizational skills
- Sensitive and compliant with confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years in one or more HR capacities (Generalist, Specialist, Recruiter, HRIS)
- Previous experience with applicant tracking system (we use SuccessFactors)
- Experience recruiting in technical areas such as: IT, Engineering, Operations, or a similar area of business
- Strong knowledge of modern recruitment techniques, tools, and best practices (LinkedIn, Indeed)
- Success with proactive sourcing of passive candidates to fill critical roles
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of sourcing and hiring exceptional candidates
- Ability to manage processes, analyze data, make recommendations, and drive improvement
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects, and client relationships
- Strong knowledge of employment law as it is related to recruiting and hiring preferred

The Talent Acquisition Business Partner is a crucial role on the TA team responsible for developing and executing strategies for all TA activities. You will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and selecting top-tier talent for a variety of positions including but not limited to Engineering, IT, Operations, Finance, Sales, and Legal. You will focus on candidate experience, building strategic partnerships in and outside the organization, and supporting the growth strategy of the business. You will be a trusted advisor to hiring teams within an assigned portfolio.
