Job Description
WHAT WE'RE DOING
Our Talent Acquisition (TA) team recruits and sources for our industry's top talent, and our recruiting team is expanding.
Rotary Mission Systems (RMS) Talent Acquisition is looking for a recruiter who will manage college (full time) and intern requisitions from creation through hire in a high volume, fast-paced, dynamic environment. This individual will report to the College Talent Acquisition Manager and support all RMS lines of business (LOBs) and functions.
THE WORK
As an Early Career Recruiter, your specific responsibilities will include:
• Conduct intake meetings with hiring managers to ensure requisition accuracy and completeness
• Manage requisitions in the Applicant Tracking System (Kenexa Brass Ring).
• Evaluate employment factors such as job experience, education and training, skills, knowledge and abilities and other data pertinent to classification and selection of candidates. Consult with hiring managers on completing their responsibilities in the ATS in sequence and on a timely basis.
• Generate job offers with compensation and review offer for accuracy before releasing. Provide information on Lockheed Martin to candidates and exhibit strong sales skills to close the deal. Follow through on background investigation to ensure a timely start date.
• Throughout the Staffing process, the recruiter ensures that the company maintains a compliant posture in accordance with employment laws and other regulatory and Lockheed Martin policies and procedures. Provide a high level of customer service to both internal and external customers.
As an Early Career Recruiter, you will be responsible for the following key deliverables:
• Ensuring a gold standard experience for candidates.
• Embrace cutting edge recruiting technology to source and identify college candidates.
• Consult with hiring leaders during intake meetings prior to posting to attract the appropriate candidate pool.
• Partner with Human Resource Business Partners (HRBPs) to identify openings, meet metrics goals and drive process improvements to achieve overall business objectives.
• Create compelling job descriptions to attract desired candidate pool.
• Proactively drive the hiring process with clients and provide regular feedback on the status of recruiting activity and any challenges faced.
• Communicate the availability of skill sets to clients and make recommendations on staffing plans to successfully fill staffing needs for program success.
• Collaborate and partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist team on scheduling interviews, post-offer items, and other support.
• Ensure applicant tracking compliance and required forms, Conflict of Interest documentation and approvals are uploaded into applicant tracking system.
• Utilize Recruiting tools, including Yello CRM for candidate outreach.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $60,600 - $106,835. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
