- Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools, including through cold-calling, in-person, and external events
- Ability to work up and down the street, pro-active cold calling, and interaction with potential candidates
- Screen and interview qualified candidates; building a relationship to ensure follow-up and follow-through during the interview process and
- Partner with leadership teams to identify target skill sets, markets, and critical openings to plan an individualized approach to reach and engage with the largest number of candidates possible
- Develop and maintain relationships with third party vendors and customers, including the building of programs related to recruitment strategies, partnerships with educational institutions, trade schools, etc.
- Travel within the state of Florida to conduct recruiting activities within Internal and External locations – career fairs, hiring events, community centers, partner activities, etc.
- Development of internal metrics and measurements of success, maintaining a continuous improvement mindset to ensure the success and quality of candidates and hires maintains strong - adjusting approach and recruiting mechanisms where needed
- Manage multiple programs and projects related to long-term talent acquisition strategies and focus areas, including Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion recruiting, vendor engagements, and partner organizations
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Minimum of 1 year of professional experience; at least 1-3 years of recruiting, customer service or sales focused experience preferred
- Ability and comfort level to approach potential applicants in the market
- Strong proficiency in computer programs and applications, experience in various Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to utilize multiple formats of communication (email, phone, text, in-person)
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external
- Ability to travel 75% of the work time
- Must have a driving record with no major moving violations in the last three (3) years
