Job Details:

• The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation” 1. Keep areas clean while continuing to make safety #1 priority. Able to disassemble all our different centrifuges and the knowledge to do so. Find new ways through effective learning to make new fixtures to do the job easier and safer. Able to do small welding work for fixture needs. Able to use hand and power tools to get the job done. Able to power wash different parts as needed. Able to use a solvent tank to clean various parts. Capable to assemble different equipment when needed. Knowledge to drill, tap and thread holes on different components when needed. Use sandblast cabinet to clean different parts as needed. MUST be willing to work in temperatures ranging from 20 degrees to 100 plus degrees. Must provide steel or composite toed boots.

• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson have a 180 days rehire waiting period and a 3 time limit.

Requirements

6 months experience in mechanic work in the work history section of application or be graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.(qualifying candidates must take a tour before accepting job offer)
