What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve optimal occupancy and Average Daily Rate (ADR) growth
- Oversee operations of the hotel sales department, including direct sales, hiring, training, and managing the sales team
- Execute operational aspects of business booked, including generating proposals and writing contracts
- Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry partners to generate leads
- Represent the hotel at site visits, trade shows, and sales calls, ensuring strong community visibility
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Sales experience in hospitality or a related field
- Valid driver's license in the applicable state
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to influence others and negotiate effectively
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems and company-approved software
