What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual sales, use, and occupancy tax returns for multiple clients
- Ensure all tax returns are filed accurately and submitted on or ahead of jurisdiction deadlines
- Maintain compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Investigate and resolve variances, communicating findings to clients as necessary
- Collaborate with internal departments and clients to resolve tax-related issues and answer inquiries

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in tax preparation preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Strong customer service skills within a professional services environment required
- Competency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Peachtree, SAP, Great Plains required; experience with Accounting Core is strongly preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
