Job Description

- Corporate income tax accounting including the preparation and analysis of quarterly tax rate and annual income tax provision and related footnotes to the consolidated financial statements in accordance with ASC 740.
- Oversight of income tax compliance including but not exclusive to, federal corporate income tax returns, extensions, and quarterly estimated tax payments.
- Collaborate on compliance tasks for foreign reporting requirements including analysis of GILTI, Subpart F, foreign tax credits calculations, country-by-country reporting, and transfer pricing documentation.
- Developing and maintaining tax workpapers, focusing on process improvement and efficiency.
- Proactive exploration and assistance in the development of worldwide tax planning opportunities to reduce both the effective tax rate and cash taxes.
- Participate in mergers/acquisitions and other special transactions including contributions to due diligence, planning, structuring, and integration support for acquisition activities.
- Expand current knowledge and monitor changes in tax law, including analysis of legislative efforts, regulatory pronouncements, and judicial developments, and evaluate the potential impact of such on the Company's business.
- Identify and research planning opportunities based on current operations, facts, and circumstances as well as forward-looking opportunities. Assist in addressing international and domestic tax issues as they arise and propose alternative solutions.
- Work cross-functionally to assist with special projects to support key corporate initiatives, business operations, and strategic plans.
- Support the Director of Global Tax in training, developing, and motivating staff, while promoting and exhibiting a professional demeanor that emphasizes best tax practices.
- Develop relationships with a network of trusted outside advisors.
- Other duties as required and assigned to contribute to the needs of the tax department as a whole.
- Reports immediately to Director of Global Tax, but needs to be able to work independently or with limited supervision
- Significant direct contact with external tax consultants
- Potential contact with customers and representatives of various jurisdictional revenue agencies
- Regular contact with tax staff, co-workers, and executive management both domestic and foreign.
- Supervision of tax staff on a project-specific basis, but no direct reports.
- BS in accounting
- Minimum 5-7 years of corporate tax experience
- Must be skilled in Excel and other common office software, as well as tax research and return preparation software
- Master’s degree in Tax
- CPA
- Experience with SAP, OneStream, and OneSource Tax Provision
- Ability to sit a computer terminal for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time
Summary:
The Corporate Tax Manager is an opportunity for a highly motivated tax professional to play an integral role within the corporate tax function to manage all aspects of corporate income tax including tax accounting, tax return compliance, and tax planning.

Base Range : $90,000-$100,000 and total compensation range $100,000-$110,000
Actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on a number of variables including work experience, education and skills/ achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer. This position is not eligible for a variable pay component as part of the hiring range.
