What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Participate in complex contract planning, development, and implementation while maintaining contract files in accordance with agency procedures
- Track the status of contracts from initiation to execution and respond to inquiries regarding contract terms and conditions
- Administer minor changes and full liquidations of contracts, ensuring timely and accurate completion
- Assist in the development and maintenance of approved contract templates for grant programs
- Review and screen grant applications for completeness and eligibility, facilitating the application processing

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university plus one year of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing, or five years of full-time experience in contracting or purchasing
- Must obtain the Texas Contract Manager Certification (CTCM) within twelve months of hire date

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in contract or grant administration
- Certification as a Texas Contract Manager (CTCM) is advantageous
