      Overview:

      Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Team Coordinator, Revenue Cycle Authorizations - Full Time Day schedule. This position is remote.

      Overview

      Responsible and accountable for the daily operations of one or more areas. Supervises staff including coordinating quality and customer service activities; assisting in the development and monitoring of the department budget; coordinating the purchasing and payroll processes; serving as a technical resource to team members; and performing work assignments as needed to provide appropriate coverage and to mentor/assist staff. Responsible for interviewing, hiring, and developing staff with the goal of developing highly effective work team. Serves as chief retention officer for areas of responsibility.

      Education

      • Bachelor's Degree (Required)

      Certification/Licensure

      • Certified Healthcare Access Manager (CHAM) OR Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) required to be obtained within 12 months Certification or License (Required)

      Experience

      • Equivalent experience in Registration may be considered in lieu of Bachelors degree
      • Healthcare - 1 year

      Talroo - Leadership, supervise, coordinate, patient registration, patient financial services

      We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$40,497.60-$67,496.00
