      Jay Group is looking for an energetic Team Lead for its Returns department.

      Job Responsibilities

      • Assigns tasks to team members to optimize productivity
      • Monitor the productivity of your team members, sharing numbers daily and coaching underperformers
      • Auditing the quality of work performed by your team members and giving feedback as necessary
      • Onboarding and Training new hires
      • Giving feedback as necessary for productivity, attendance, or workplace conduct
      • Listening to feedback and resolve issues from your team, escalating as necessary
      • Assists Supervisor with documentation, job set ups and paperwork for returns.
      • Sort out damaged returns and communicate to Account Manager. Dispose of damaged items as requested.
      • Identifies client returns and inspects per returns SOP and client specifications.
      • Track returns for benchmarking purposes.
      • Identify internal picking and packing errors and communicate to appropriate parties.
      • Must be able to delegate areas of responsibilities to returns team-members.
      • Performs other clerical tasks such as researching problem RMA’s and EOD reports sent timely to operations management.
      • Acts as a liaison for communication between supervisor and other employees.
      • Adheres to and champions corporate safety and quality procedures and policies.
      • Acts on behalf of Supervisor, within limits of authority, in his/her absence and/or as assigned.
      • Working lead role requires assisting with sorting, scanning, or keying job roles as needed.

      Qualifications


      • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
      • Must be able to demonstrate leadership to team members on various projects
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills
      • Self-motivated and able to work with little or no supervision while leading a team
      • Strong computer skills needed
      • Previous warehouse/distribution experience using a warehouse management system is required
      • Must be able to lift and carry/move up to 50 lbs
      • Ability to work overtime, especially during the 4th quarter (November December)
      • Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is preferred, but not required
