      Team Leader

      Our Distribution team at Thatcham is looking for an experienced and motivated Team Leader to join them. Our Team Leaders play an integral role in the delivery of our online day to day operations for our distribution centre, we work together, and we win together in bringing moments of magic to our customers.

      This position works varied shifts between 7am-6pm Monday to Friday and with opportunity for weekend work.

      Our distribution team is a vital part of the Harrods success story, and you are one step closer to joining a world class team based in Thatcham. Our 340,000 square foot warehouse is at the heart of our international distribution service and a key cog in ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.

      About You

      • You will be an experienced people manager, used to managing and optimising operational outputs of daily shifts.

      • You will manage a small team in their daily RTV picking and packing operation in the warehouse, setting clear objectives and responding to shifts in pace and priorities.

      • You will be responsible for ensuring tasks are completed to the highest standard with meticulous detail.

      • You will be knowledgeable in supply chain management and motivated to prove yourself and add value to a business in a fast paced and exciting environment.

      • You will be able to work flexible hours/days and demonstrate the ability to adapt to the changing demands of the role.

      • An accountable and inspirational leader, you will pride yourself and your team on the quality of your work and ability to build strong working relationships through building trust.

      • You are proactive in getting things done, driving tasks through to completion to deliver what has been promised.

      • As a Team Leader, you will support Senior Management by leading a team with an efficient and smooth onward flow of goods through the supply chain providing the level of service excellence that Harrods is renowned for.

      • You will maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern to the Line Manager immediately.

      • You will regularly review procedures for improvements in efficiency and working practices, and to make any recommendations to the Assistant Manager.
