- Be the overall Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) technical lead and solution architect
- Help drive the CLM automation strategy & implementation to improve operational efficiencies and client services SLAs
- Build and lead the core CLM development team, achieve engineering excellence, motivate and expand the team
- Collaborate closely with your peers within the wider Client Technology team, internal teams, and external vendors to provide holistic technology solution options
- Focus on building out a client digital experience
- Communicate effectively, written & verbally to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
- Leveraging your knowledge of CLM, participate in the management of key stakeholders and take ownership of key activities and tasks, Provide transparency, escalate issues and risks to senior IT and Operational managers plus work together to jointly mitigate risk and prioritise activities.
- Ensure the day to day running of the platform is effective, efficient, secure and all the applications are kept up to date within compliance and risk controls
- Liaise with the Enterprise Architecture and IT Risk teams to ensure adherence to standards, processes and policies
- Ensure the adoption and development best practices like agile and lean methodologies, DevOps, continuous delivery and test automation
- Client Onboarding, Offboarding and Reviews functions
- Client Lifecycle Workflows & process automation across functions such as AML, KYC, Tax, Credit, Legal and electronic enablement achieving a 'Single View of the Client (360°)'
- Client outreach, document collection & storage and self-service capabilities for servicing clients
- Integrations with 3rd Party data providers and internal downstream applications
- Translates user needs into technical specifications by understanding, conceptualizing, and facilitating technical requirements from user.
- Analyzes, develops, tests, and implements new software programs, and documentation of entire software development life cycle execution.
- Performs preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting and fault rectification of system and core software components .
- Ensures that code/configurations adhere to the security, logging, error handling, and performance standards and non-functional requirements.
- Evaluates new technologies for fit with the program/system/eco-system and the associated upstream and downstream impacts on process, data, and risk.
- Follows release management processes and standards, and applies version controls.
- Assists in interpreting and documentation of client requirements.

The CLM tech team has overall responsibility for building / supporting the following:
Drives the overall software development lifecycle including working across functional teams to transform requirements into features, managing development teams and processes, and conducting software testing and maintenance. Specific project areas of focus includes translating user requirements into technical specifications, writing code and managing the preparation of design specifications. Supports system design, provides advice on security requirements and debugs business systems and service applications. Applies deep knowledge of algorithms, data structures and programming languages to develop high quality technology applications and services - including tools, standards, and relevant software platforms based on business requirements.
Compensation and Benefits:
$123,200.00 - $176,000.00The base salary represents BMO Financial Group’s hiring range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as location, skills, experience, and qualification for the role. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked.
Base salary is one component of BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package for employees, which may include performance-based incentives, commissions or discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
