      Overview Location: Candidate must sit 90 miles from one of our office locations: Purchase, NY, Plano, TX or Chicago, IL. This role is HYBRID. Target of 1 day in office per week. PepsiCo Labs is the Tech Venturing & Innovation arm of PepsiCo. We are a small and nimble team that works globally across the PepsiCo organization to identify the largest business needs. Externally, we scout for leading start-up technologies and solutions – partnering with Venture Capitalists and other industry leaders. Once solutions are selected, we created a rapid pilot process to test solutions and systematically scale the best start-ups across the organization. As a Tech Venturing & Innovation Sr. Analyst you will need to be at the forefront of cutting-edge technologies. You will need to develop new partnerships across the organization and with external partners to build future capabilities together for PepsiCo’s operation. You will drive the startup research, analysis & evaluations and lead the rapid pilot onboarding process. Responsibilities Lead cross-functionally to support execution of strategic tech innovation programs: Build project deliverables in partnership with project leaders Develop briefs for new technical capabilities Drive the startup evaluation and selection process through logical and analytical thinking with fact-based insights Lead the rapid pilot onboarding process and own startup vendor management Lead the startup use case research, analysis & evaluation of solution fit to use case Build use case assessment criteria to systematically evaluate which startup’s technology & overall solution has potential to solve the use case Assess competencies vs. Use case Engage & coordinate cross functional SMEs input to assessment criteria Create executive-level communication materials that gain buy-in for PepsiCo Labs led initiatives across the organization Understand complex technology concepts and simplify messaging for senior stakeholders Lead evaluation of Venture Capitalist performance & capability assessment conducting research, analysis & evaluation of capabilities Provide process and pilot thought partnership to business partners and Senior Executives Demonstrate strong leadership and influence management skills, including the ability to challenge the status quo Maintain an external mindset, including staying on top of consumer, competitive, and macroeconomic / technology trends Contribute to capability building for the entire PepsiCo Labs function (e.g., Training, Knowledge Management, Process documentation, etc.) Manage and coordinate logistics for sector, functional and Labs program meetings with internal and external participants Success comes from your ability to create a process that enables seamless interaction with startups Ensure PepsiCo’s reputation in the eco-system as rapid response and clear decisions Bridge the communication and culture gap between startup executives and PEP leaders Need to operate across multiple functional teams & interact with Snr stakeholders Need aptitude to develop working knowledge against any given focus area to enable informed decisions on solutions Need aptitude develop understanding contractual & legal agreements, IT & EA requirements, and associated risks Qualifications Bachelor's degree required 3+ Years of analyst experience Interest in technology & innovation Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with the ability to quickly learn various in-house software applications Ability to function well in a team environment, display professional maturity and interact with all levels of management Effective communication skills, strong collaboration skills and an impeccable standard of excellence Results-oriented with the ability to complete assignments in a timely manner Ability to handle multiple priorities, including the ability to make clear and timely decisions Aptitude to work with minimal supervision, set goals, creates, and implements action plans and monitor progress towards goals Strong tech business consulting acumen would be preferred, but not required Differentiating Competencies Required Learning aptitude to develop working knowledge against any potential technical focus area Ability to conduct self-directed research & analysis and refine outputs to simplified recommendations Act as face of PepsiCo & PepsiCo Labs Program to external companies (VCs/Startups) Lead program cross functional “buy-in” from stakeholders and navigate complex matrix organization dynamics Ability to work across multiple functions (HR, Procurement, IT, Supply chain, sustainability, etc.) Compensation and Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $100,000 - $167,500 based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting actual starting salary Bonus based on performance and eligibility; target payout is 8% of annual salary paid out annually. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
