We are recruiting for a Technical Alarm Handler to join our Tactical Operations team on a permanent basi s as part of the evolution of Tactical Operations at Anglian Water.

What you’ll be doing:

Reporting to the Operational Control Manager, you'll be part of a team that deliver a business critical 24-hour alarm monitoring service for Water and Water Recycling.

You'll take ownership of operational and resourcing short-term issues and will provide a greater degree of flexibility to the Tactical Operations (TO) team in times of high workload. You'll use experience and in-depth knowledge of telemetry and monitoring systems to pro-actively monitor , interpret and process alarms and will hold responsibility for the deployment of alarms either directly via telephone, or by raised work in systems.

This role will be cross process and will be expected to cover both Water and Water Recycling processes. It will also take ownership of the Competency Framework, training and development of new starters.

As our new Technical Alarm Handler, you'll be the first point of contact for TO team for operational alarm issues, supporting the Senior Operations Manager and Operational Control Manager with operational issues and specific events when requested , and assist the Alarm Team Leader with short term resourcing issues including the coordination of team rosters.
