Help mold the future of Alexa+, our next-generation assistant powered by generative AI. If you have the right blend of passion, enthusiasm, customer advocacy, curiosity and creativity, you may just be right for the Tech Business Development Manager role on the Alexa+ team. In this role, you will be working with top-tier technology companies who want to make their specialized agents available to Alexa customers. You will work with partners to develop incredible experiences that will wow customers using the Alexa AI Multi-Agent SDK.
Your responsibilities will include driving the end-to-end partnership cycles, from inbound lead qualification and outbound lead generation to initial partner engagement and contract negotiation with top-tier partner organizations. You will be the “face of Amazon” with key partners and drive discussions and negotiations with technical leaders in those organizations. You will be required to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges and map the intersection of partner needs and Amazon priorities.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer engagement and communication skills, as well as the technical understanding to drive deals across all stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive the end-to-end partnership cycle, from initial discovery through negotiation and launch
• Identify and engage top tier technology partners and drive opportunities for compelling Alexa experiences
• Work with cross-functional teams to enable successful recruiting and onboarding of developers
• Develop unique, compelling and exciting presentations and demonstrations of new Amazon technologies
• Deliver persuasive, passionate, high impact, high quality presentations to senior decision makers
• Advocate internally for developer features and functionality that will help facilitate a world class multi-agent ecosystem on Alexa+
• Create actionable steps that allow you to achieve ambitious goals in the face of ambiguity
A day in the life
You will be the single point of contact for Alexa's largest and most strategic partnerships. You will drive strategy and tactics across the partnership working across organizational levels and functions. As part of the role, you will work with Sr BDMs on the team to drive deal negotiation strategy & execution, while contributing to broader organizational business & product strategy.
About the team
The Alexa+ Multi-Agent Business Development team manages our global portfolio of strategic partners who wish to integrate with the Multi-Agent SDK to make their AI agent experiences available to Alexa+ customers. - 3+ years of business development, partnership management, or sourcing new business experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
- Experience setting up and managing a sales pipeline
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions
- Strong presentation, sales, and negotiation skills- Experience working with emerging technologies in a sales or partnerships role
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- Ability to internalize goals and work with colleagues to create appropriate action plans for those goals
- Ability to succeed in a fast-paced, innovative, and rapidly evolving industry and business organization

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $83,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
