      Description

      DetraPel, Inc. is hiring and has one key sales position to fill in the United States, and few will qualify, so please read the requirements carefully. Over the next six months, DetraPel will be doubling its Sales Team and expanding its Business Development team to accelerate growth and drive deal closures. With no regional divisions, our sales team has unrestricted access to prospects. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven professional who thrives in a competitive environment, is determined to lead the field, and remains unwavering in the pursuit of success. The ideal candidate actively advocates for new opportunities and constantly pushes initiatives forward, never settling for complacency.

      We specialize in enterprise sales, handling opportunities ranging from $500,000 to upwards of $10 million in annual volume, with an average sales cycle of 12 months. In your first year, the on-target total compensation is $200,000, with upside earning potential.

      Base compensation is $80,000 annually. Up to 60% travel is required. You must live within one hour of a major airline hub.

      Responsibilities

      To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate the following sales capabilities:
      • You're a current or former Sales Manager who wants to get back into selling with the potential to build a team.
      • You have excelled in the player/coach role.
      • You'll be managing yourself while responsible for 100% of sales.
      • You lead and teach by example.
      • You are skilled in efficient qualification, focusing on engaged buyers ready for change rather than forcing misaligned opportunities.
      • You have a hunter mindset, use a consultative sales approach, have good listening and questioning skills, excellent relationship-building skills, are well organized, and sell value.
      • You love people, are outgoing, excel in building trust, and have excellent writing and presentation skills.
      • You prospect daily and proactively build a solid pipeline of qualified new opportunities.
      • You are resourceful, flexible, accountable, and pay rigorous attention to the details.
      • You have grit and excellent personal skills.
      • You exercise good judgment and time management skills.
      • You're collaborative and work well with a team.
      • You have good account management skills, and if asked, your existing customers would say, "They provided such good service, I'd follow them anywhere."

      Qualifications
      • You must have prior success selling paper, chemicals, or other items that are premiums in competitive commoditized markets.
      • You must have prior success in technical sales to Product Developers, Directors of Sustainability, Packaging Engineers, Project Engineers, Heads of R&D, Technical Product Managers, and the C-Suite.
      • Experience selling to paper companies, paper converters, toll coaters in the paper and or lamination business, food or CPG brands focused on packaging or sustainable packaging is helpful but not required.
