      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Achieve sales and profit goals within the assigned Southern California region
      - Promote and sell scientific instruments and services to meet revenue targets
      - Maintain and expand customer relationships while identifying new opportunities
      - Coordinate and participate in marketing activities within the territory
      - Manage CRM data input and provide weekly updates on forecasts and metrics

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related field
      - Minimum of 3 years' experience in capital equipment sales or scientific sales in biotechnology
      - At least 3 years' experience in sales/business development within the Life Sciences sector
      - 2+ years' experience in negotiating pricing and terms, with formal sales training preferred
      - Proficiency in Funnel Management, Forecasting, and prospecting, with experience using sales tools like Salesforce and Tableau

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Experience with formal sales training programs such as SPIN or Miller Heiman
      - Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional sales teams
      - Demonstrated enthusiasm for presenting technical information to clients
      - Passion for customer service and a results-oriented mindset
      - Ability to quickly adapt to organizational changes and new tools
