We are looking for a Technology Transfer Executive (TTE) will support Technology Transfer Managers (TTMs ) in developing and commercialising University of Edinburgh intellectual property. The role encompasses liaising with clients, potential clients, inventors, business development colleagues, and other technology transfer colleagues in support of intellectual property (IP) disclosures, performance of patent searches, undertaking due diligence, compilation of patentability reports, market analysis, and generally supporting the development of IP through to commercial outcomes such as licensing to third-parties or University spinouts.
This post is advertised as full-time (35 hours per week), however, we are open to considering part-time or flexible working patterns. We are also open to considering requests for hybrid working (on a non-contractual basis) that combines a mix of remote and regular on-campus working.
