      Job Description

      The Production Services team delivers turn-key custom solutions and services to Telemundo Enterprises, NBCU, Peacock, and third-party Productions to create their content at Telemundo Center. We partner with our highly skilled Telemundo & NBCU colleagues to bring innovative technology, best-in-class studio services, and production expertise to our clients. We collaborate with all teams to grow new revenue streams, implement new shows, and maximize Telemundo Center’s capacity. Production Services is a unique environment providing an end-to-end understanding of productions from scripted to daily shows. The intern will be exposed to multiple project-related events, daily shows, and 3rd party productions within that team.

      Responsibilities:

      • Support the Production Services outreach effort to promote our services on social media.
      • Recommend industry events to attend in 2024.
      • Create a newsletter to inform our client base.
      • Analyze the market and recommend positioning our services.
      • Collaborate with other NBCU teams to align service offerings.
      • Organize and enhance the current catalog of sets.
      • Provide recommendations on website optimization (Search Engine Optimization).

      Qualifications

      Basic Qualifications:

      • Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the length of the program.
      • Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
      • Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship by NBCUniversal.
      • Must be working from within the United States during all hours worked.
      • Marketing.
      • Social Media content distribution and campaign.
      • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools.
      • SEO knowledge.

      Desired Competencies:

      • Broad knowledge of Social Media and its latest trends.
      • Ability to establish relationships within the team and with our partners.
      • Great written communication skills.
      • Entrepreneurial spirit.
      • Constant Contact knowledge.
      • Basic knowledge and interest in the media industry.
      • Students with a class standing of junior or above are preferred.
      • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
      • Strong interest in the media industry.
      • Commitment to building an inclusive work environment.
      • Previous internship experience and on-campus involvement.

      The internship hourly rate for undergrad students is $16.50 and $25.00 for MBA or master's degree.
