What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Respond to telephone inquiries from customers regarding various housing programs
- Independently perform intake and resolution of complex questions related to housing laws and regulations
- Provide assistance to both Spanish-speaking and non-Spanish speaking clients
- Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures to effectively assist customers
- Collaborate with team members to improve service delivery and customer satisfaction
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be able to work under general supervision
- Experience in customer service or related field
- Knowledge of laws and regulations concerning manufactured housing and related programs
- Ability to communicate effectively in both Spanish and English
- Proficiency in using personal computers and database software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to learn and retain detailed information about rules and regulations
- Experience working directly with the public, including handling difficult situations
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel software applications
- Bilingual Spanish skills preferred
