What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct high-level complex research and analysis of programmatic and housing data
- Develop program plans, materials, regulations, and policy recommendations for federally funded programs
- Collaborate with federal, state, and local governments, community-based organizations, and external partners
- Provide technical assistance and training to teams and individuals
- Evaluate projects and programs for compliance with federal and state requirements

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of five years of experience in housing policy, program development, or related field
- Strong understanding of affordable housing development and federal/state regulations
- Proven experience in policy analysis and research related to housing and community development
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF)

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in mentoring or leading teams
- Familiarity with California housing policies and regulations
- Background in working with community-based organizations and planning groups
- Experience with data analysis and presenting recommendations effectively
- Knowledge of state and federal funding programs for housing development
