What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Review and validate medical records to ensure accurate charge capture for procedures, supplies, and services
- Audit and reconcile patient accounts, resolving billing discrepancies to maintain accuracy and compliance
- Manage daily work queues, research errors, and process corrections to ensure timely charge entry
- Compile and analyze billing data, generating reports to support internal review and decision-making
- Collaborate with internal teams to answer inquiries and support revenue integrity efforts

What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3-5 years of medical coding experience
- Working knowledge of CPT, HCPCs, and ICD10 coding principles
- Excellent knowledge of medical terminology
- Previous experience with EPIC
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions in English

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with the California Child Abuse and Neglect Reporting Act
- Experience in a temporary employment setting
- Knowledge of background check and live scan processes
- Understanding of E-Verify and pre-placement health evaluation requirements
