What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Prospect for new merchant services accounts and cross-sell additional banking products
- Prepare proposals, conduct sales presentations, and provide product training at client locations
- Serve as the primary customer service contact for Merchant Services clients, assisting with inquiries and technical support
- Collaborate with bank personnel to generate and respond to referrals of merchant services prospects
- Monitor portfolio reports and perform periodic reviews to identify revenue opportunities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Candidate must be located in a major city within one of the following Central region states: TX, IL, CO, MO, LA, MN, KS, NE, and MI
- Minimum 3 years of Merchant Services sales experience
- Minimum 2 years of Business Development/Sales-related experience and/or training
- Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Current driver's license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive while performing assigned duties
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field
- Demonstrated ability to cross-sell and explain all products and services with confidence
- Ability to work with minimal supervision while performing duties
- Experience dealing with complex problems in non-standardized situations
