What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and deliver assigned content-area test items and assessment ancillaries on time
- Facilitate committee reviews, including bias reviews and alignment studies
- Write, review, revise, and edit test items for assigned projects
- Develop domain-specific specifications, test blueprints, and scoring guidelines
- Support the final review process for assigned items and tests, including sign-off procedures

What is Required (Qualifications):
- BS/BA in science, science education, or related field; MS in education or related field preferred
- Minimum of three years of K-12 teaching experience in science or related experience
- In-depth knowledge of science content area, curriculum, and instruction
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

- Experience in writing and editing test items and constructing test forms
- Knowledge of national and state-specific curriculum standards
- Ability to adjust to changing circumstances and direction
- Experience working in teams and solving complex problems
