Job Description

- You will develop, automate and own the testing suites across web, portal and remote based applications
- You will help identify any gaps in testing and support the business in developing solutions which could reduce manual test effort
- You will undertake testing against plans and coordinate any testing by system SME’s
- You will conduct manual and exploratory testing
- Before testing begins, you will be the lead to ensure all testing pre-requisites are identified
- A strong understanding of testing methodologies such as Agile, waterfall and hybrid
- Brilliant test automation experience with programming languages like Java or Python, SQL and Selenium Web-driver
- Knowledge and experience in using tools like IntelliJ or Visual Studio Code, Jmeter
- Effective decision making and problem solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders and suppliers

Test Specialist
We’re expanding our start-up Unsecured Lending business, having launched a excellent product on market-leading systems which offers customers guaranteed eligibility and real rates through Price Comparison Websites (PCWs).
We’re looking for a hands on Test Specialist with experience across frontend, backend and API to own, manage, drive the creation and execution of our test schedules across multiple Lending systems.
This is a key role, directing the logging and triage of defects identified in UAT to ensure any blockers are well communicated and prioritized with the system supplier.
We're flexible on location, this can be based at home or either of our offices in Cardiff, Bexhill, Leicester or London Cannon Street.
