      Position Role Type:

      Looking for a mechanical/ electrical technician who is familiar with assembly and experienced in electronics. This will support our Wipers Group. We serve hundreds of products, a broad portfolio to work with. In this position you will work with an array of assemblies that will give you a great foundation for future growth and success in our business.

      WHAT YOU WILL DO:

      • Perform testing to identify root cause to identify and troubleshoot common re-occurring failures.

      • Use hand tools and testing equipment to dis-assemble and evaluate.

      • Utilize microelectronic, electronic, optical, mechanical, or

      • electromechanical equipment, including computers and lasers.

      • Support regular calibration equipment.

      • Participate on and/or lead project teams.

      • Apply technical expertise in the evaluation, development, maintenance and use of complex products, devices, tests, or procedures under constantly changing conditions.

      • Provide technical solutions to engineering.

      • Participate in safety initiatives.

      • Self-ma nage workfl ow throughout area with minimal guidance, to achieve team goals.

      • Provide skill specific training to team members to improve the technique or processes.

      • Generate reports from test results and communicate results or take immediate

      • corrective action to assure proper disposition of items in question.

      • Write test procedures and manufacturing re-work instruction for complex or detailed assembly or test operations.

      • Report unsafe practices and/or conditions to the appropriate individuals to ensure prompt resolution of potential hazards .

      • You will wear Proper Protective Equipment was needed.

      • Work overtime on a business need basis, up to 15 additional hours per week .

      QUALIFICATIONS YOU MUST HAVE:

      • Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.

      • 2+ years of electrical or mechanical assembly experience.

      • Must be able to stand for 8+ hours.

      QUALIFICATIONS WE PREFER:

      • 2 years electronics or electrical college degree. In the absence of a college degree, 4 years of relevant experience in the product line test area

      • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals .

      • Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment .

      • Ability to respond quickly and adapt effectively to non-routine requests and situations with accuracy .

      • Ability to anticipate needs, be proactive, and apply sound judgment when making decisions .

      The salary range for this role is $44,475 - $83,414. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
